I never could understand the big deal about opening jars or even popping the top on a soda can till I got to where I could not do it as well as I could when I was younger. About 15 years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia with that come momentary weakness it comes on all of a sudden and never know how long it will last. If that has not been a challenge for me now I have arthritis setting in. I bought a expensive electric machine a while back and it was a total waste of money. This came quickly and was in good condition. I was really hoping this would work because it was actually a cute little gadget. I like that they had painted instructions on the handle. I didn't even get to try it at first my took it and was opening everything in the house she could get her hands on laughing and saying it was fun. I was happy she was having a nice time, but that still did not tell me if I could use it. When I finally got my chance to use it I was almost as happy as she was because it was so easy to use!!! I seen this and wanted to try it out. BBQ Sniper says that the reading is really fast. Nice that means less chance of being burned or scorched!! Most importantly helps to prevent over and under cooking. I really needed one that I can read quickly because we BBQ a lot during the warmer months. Although I am pretty good at eyeing when the meat is done. I would rather be safer than sorry. Other thermometers did not stand up long to the heat of a open fire.

I tested it on a baked chicken at first because said it was for more than just BBQ. It worked very well and I like it has a long tester to get to the center of the meat. I then tested on BBQ next day when it warmed up. It was great with in seconds I knew the temperature. Barely felt the heat. There was no flickering of the digital like I have had happen on others. It stood up to the heat. The display is large, and clear very easy to read. Switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit is just a button click away. The probe is easy to sanitize between uses. Just wipe down with soap and water, I then wipe again with disinfectant wipe. It folds in half, making it easy to store and easy to carry for portable BBQ’s or camping. I Seen this and had to have it. I have tried many tenderizers in the past, for the most part all they do is flatten them meat by pounding it. I seen this and was very excited it was Stainless Steel and would match the other stuff in my kitchen. But what I liked about even more was how convent this was going to be for me. I seen these and thought they was so Stylish!!! I never knew they existed before I seen these and had to have them!! I don’t really drink much alcohol anymore like when I was younger, but would like to set up a bat in the corner of the room just for decoration.
I did try them out in some juice and they work great!! Keep my drink nice and cool and don't have the watering effect that ice has. I really like that. I tried some that was made of plastic some years back and I was afraid what was inside would leak out, but I don’t see that happening with these.
